Welcome to EcoSTEM Academy
We are a fully operating micro-school serving students from Kindergarten through 6th grade in our full-day academic program.
Inclusive Learning for Diverse Learners
At EcoSTEM Academy, we believe every child deserves access to a meaningful, engaging, and individualized educational experience. We proudly welcome students with ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), dyslexia, processing differences, and other learning needs who benefit from academic and instructional accommodations.
Our learning model supports each child’s strengths and learning style through intentional structure, small-group instruction, and hands-on, nature-based learning.
What We Provide: Academic Learning Style Accommodations
We offer academic accommodations to support attention, processing, communication, and learning access—not behavioral intervention services.
Examples of Learning Accommodations We Offer:
Instructional Support
Small group or one-on-one instruction
Visual schedules and step-by-step directions
Chunked assignments and extended time
Multi-sensory teaching (hands-on, visual, auditory, movement)
Assistive tools (speech-to-text, graphic organizers, educational apps)
Attention & Sensory Supports
Flexible seating (wobble stools, cushions, standing desks)
Structured movement and brain breaks
Calming tools (fidgets, quiet corner, headphones)
Routine-based classroom structure
Communication & Social Support
Modeling and guided peer interaction
Social skill prompts and structured collaboration
Clear expectations and positive reinforcement
These accommodations help students access learning, maintain focus, and express their knowledge in alternative ways.
⚠️ What We Are Not: Behavioral Intervention Program
While we support learning needs associated with ADHD and Autism, EcoSTEM Academy is not a behavioral intervention, therapeutic, or treatment-based school.
We do not provide:
🚫 Intensive behavioral management or crisis intervention
🚫 Therapeutic, clinical, or psychological services
🚫 Full-time 1:1 behavioral aides
🚫 Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) or specialized behavioral programs
🚫 Services for students with frequent aggression, elopement, or disruptive behaviors
Our learning environment is structured, nurturing, and accommodating to learning differences—but not designed to address significant behavioral support needs.
Our Learning Philosophy
“We do not change the child,we change the teaching to meet the child’s needs.”
At EcoSTEM Academy, we specialize in supporting students with learning-based accommodations, not behavioral interventions. Our program focuses on:
Academic inclusion
Personalized instruction
Environmental and STEM-based learning
Strength-based and interest-driven education
Building confidence, independence, and joy in learning
Is EcoSTEM the Right Fit for Your Child?
To help determine if our school is a good learning match, we consider:
🔹 The child’s academic needs and learning style
🔹 Required accommodations (instructional, sensory, communication)
🔹 Ability to participate in group learning and community projects
🔹 Behavior compatibility with a small, relationship-centered school environment
Families are welcome to schedule a consultation, classroom visit, or observation to explore placement and support options
In addition to our core curriculum, we offer diagnostic academic testing in reading and math—ideal for homeschooling families seeking a clear understanding of their child’s current academic level, strengths, and areas for growth.
For homeschool families, we also provide a variety of enrichment classes in reading, math, science, and social studies, tailored to support and enhance home-based education.
At EcoSTEM Academy, we’re proud to offer a personalized educational experience through individualized education plans in both our full-day micro-school and homeschool enrichment programs. We are redefining the way families approach homeschooling by blending structure, and evidence-based learning to meet each child’s unique needs.
